Mozart Festival to be Held in Ohio

On April 18, 2009 the Ohio Mozart Festival will be kicked off with a Wine Tasting. This wine tasting will start from 7:00 P.M. onwards at of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Love home, 7 Lisa Drive (Hamilton). An admission fee of $35.00 will be charge but purchased before April 1 then the cost will be $30.00. The wine tasting of 6 different wines that comes from different areas. Not only will you enjoy the wine tasting but there will also be beautiful music and spectacular cuisines available.

A Mozart Night Out will follow on April 22 from 6:00 P.M. onwards at the Ryans Tavern (225 High St.). The night out will feature a happy hour with Wolfgang, bartenders, great drinks and wonderful snacks. There is no need to make any reservation because there will be no admission fee. All drinks can be purchased at the bar.

On April 25 to April 26 is the Ohio Mozart Festival proper. At 6:00 P.M. on April 25 at the Wilks Center, in conjunction with "Der Mozart Karnival there will be a Chamber of Music with David Burchfield a HFSO Associate Conductor. He will be conducting the Grand Sinfonia Concertante.

At the St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church; 224 Dayton St. in Downtown Hamilton on April 26 there will be a Grand Final Concert that will start at 6:00 P.M. It will feature Paul John Stanbery who will be conducting Concerto for Clarinet Movement I. Allegro.

There will be an Afterglow dinner after the Grand Finale Concert at Riverbank Caf. Dennis and Robin Kurlas together with their staff will feature a great and relaxing venue for you and other Ohio Mozart Festival visitors to enjoy the night away. It is best to make your reservations ahead of time. The fee will be $25.00 but if you register before April 1 it will only be $20.00.
